This is a magazine spread for Reveries on Time – Saunter (aka. Saunter). Saunter is a design interpretation of the book Einstein’s Dreams by Alan Lightman. The book is divided into diary entries by date instead of chapters, each of which is related to specific theory.

This spread focuses on the May 14th section, which focuses on the Oddball Effect. The section discusses how the center of time is where time stops and moments are isolated. The author also discusses the concept of time moving in concentric circles is reminiscent of space. The layout and graphics used in this spread are meant to depict the center of time and create a sense of vacancy like outer space. Excerpts from the film

Excerpts from the film Groundhog Day‘s script is used as a texture in the background, and are stylized to resemble stars. The graphic element in the top left corner represents the center of time with other moments and people meeting at that point.
