ShopYEG is an app that serves as a directory of clothing boutiques in Edmonton. The app is meant to serve as a quick reference guide for information regarding these stores and provide directions to get to them.

The aesthetic for the interface is modern, urban, simple and fashionable as it’s target demographic are the fashion-conscious. The layout uses standard app conventions to make navigation as intuitive as possible. The categories listed as filters are meant to make finding a store that suits them as simple as possible.

The first versions started with a warm gray, pinkish red, and pale yellow. The colours were changed to a monochromatic gray scheme to flatter the branding and images from the boutiques.
